R O N A L D J O N E S
February 21, 2026 - May 23, 2026Ronald Jones (1952 - 2019) used his positions as an artist, writer, and pedagogue to show how power and technology quietly shape the systems and institutions that organize everyday life. In his lectures and writing Jones argued against so-called political art, putting forward a fervent, if cynical, realism as to the application and audience. Like a Trojan Horse, Jones preferred to veil unnerving narratives with the conventions of abstract modernism.
This project is realized in collaboration with Noah Barker. A text by Barker will accompany the exhibition.
